Geographic Constraints and the Housing Supply Elasticity in Germany

Estimates the price elasticity of housing supply and the impact of geographic constraints in Germany from 2008-2019 using the Bartik instrument. The housing supply is, on average, inelastic, about 0.23 across counties, with highly (land) developed counties showing lower elasticity.
